About This Service
The back glass is tempered like your side windows, so when it breaks it goes all at once — into the trunk, across the rear seats, into the hatch channels. Between the mess and the open cabin, it’s not a repair to put off.
Darin vacuums out the broken glass, preps the frame, and installs new back glass with a proper bond — sedans, SUVs, hatchbacks, trucks. The rear defroster connections are hooked up and tested before the job is called done.
Like door glass, back glass is vehicle-specific, so have your year, make, and model ready when you call. Most rear windshields can be sourced quickly and replaced in a single mobile visit.

Will my rear defroster still work?
Yes — replacement back glass includes the defroster grid, and we connect and test it before we leave.
How long does back glass replacement take?
Usually 1–2 hours on site including cleanup, depending on the vehicle and how much glass scattered.
Can I drive with a broken back glass?
Legally it varies, practically it’s a bad idea — exhaust fumes can pull into the cabin and the opening invites weather and theft. Tape a temporary cover over it and get it replaced promptly.
Do you replace back glass on trucks with sliding windows?
Yes — including solid and slider rear windows on pickups. Mention the slider when you call so the right glass is sourced.
